Hi Everyone

I hope you have had a great first week back at school. Florida is a long way from New Zealand so most people go to Australia or the Pacific Islands to enjoy warmer weather, when it is cold here. All our classes had heat pumps fitted over the holidays and we have had it going the last couple of days. It wa 20 c on Wednesday but it has only just been double figures the last couple of days. We have been writing instructions this week so we hope we can share some of these with you shortly.

Hi all

How are you all? Hope your holidays were great and school is going well. I just got home yesterday from two and a half fantastic weeks in Florida. We stayed in Port Richey near Tampa as our relatives have bought a villa there. My girls loved the pool and we had four visits to Busch Gardens which was amazing. Have any of you been there? It was over 9 hours on a flight from London but well worth it. We can't wait to go back! I'm a little jet lagged so it will be tricky getting up at 6.30am tomorrow morning for work! The children will be really pleased to get their messages and I'm sure they will have lots to write to you about. I bumped into Melissa from my class in Busch Gardens and my Depute Head Teacher too. Sorry I have not written in a long time .
I have been doing a lot of things and I am not here on Thursday mornings or Wednesdays so It is a little bit difficult even though I am on the computer a lot.
We just had a Gala day on Saturday where I had a Pony and go-Kart Rides.

I would like to tell you about the energy in New Zealand. New Zealand resisted the need for nuclear powerd generators. It has abundant sources of water which can be harnessed for hydro-powerd electricity. The lakes and rivers of the South Island are the main supply.

Hello everyone
Thanks for the photos. You are all just about ready to go on holiday and ours has just about come to an end. We have had a rough holiday as far as weather goes with cold winds , rain and parts of the country with heavy snowfalls (our mountains have a thick coating too).
