I have sent an email with our postal address. We finish on the 2nd of July too, for a 2 week break. We are all following the World Cup as New Zealand made it there for the only the second time (last time was 1982). They are playing their final pool game against Paraguay at 2am Friday morning , our time. We are hopeful but realistic, a win will take us into the next round. We are in the middle of our winter and it has rained non-stop for the last 5 weeks.

Thanks for all your messages. Still not able to use blog so I'm going to ask the children to send their final messages to you by post. Sorry we've not been in touch. We finish for 6 weeks summer holidays next Friday 2nd July. The children will be split up and meet their new teachers next Tuesday. The sunshine is here at last. Fingers crossed for a good summer. We have been having a very exciting term at Solway Primary School. Recently, a group of students went to the interschool cross-country. Only two people made it to regionals though.

Hi there Fardeen, how are you going its almost the end of term 2 2010. the weather over here is so bad that we are getting thunderstorms and big floods over in the south island. I am moving out of myhouse soon.I dont have a clue what we are doing this holiday!!!! so what have you been doing latley? what are you doing this holiday? There have been snow storms in the north island and the south and we had a hail storm the other day. everyone in my class jumped up and said hay theres a hail storm outside. we have been having bad frosts in the mornig for the past few weeks now it is not nice. i have to put on a sweat suirt every mornig. finnaley the sun comes up for the first time!!!

Back at School

Hello everyone. I started back at school last week and look forward to the the next 4 weeks before our holidays. We have been learning about disasters and how we can survive them. This weekend is Queen's Birthday weekend and this means that we have Monday off. The teachers had a teacher only day on Friday , so the children have a 4 day weekend!!
