Thanks very much for trying out the circuit. It was great to see your photo. We were busy last week with our Parent and Pupil Maths Workshop. It was really good fun. Our class made up problems for their parents to solve and it was interesting to see if they used the same strategy (eg draw a diagram, use cubes, multiply) as their son/daughter. We are nervous and excited about doing our Assembly to the P4 to P7 this Thursday. It's called 'Celebration of Skills'. We have a mix of music (drums, singing, violin, recorder, guitar, piano), a Powerpoint presentation about Islam followed by a play about Ramadan. The skills are demonstrating, peer teaching, illustrating, communicating etc. Our camera was lost but has been found so we hope to get photos of the children sent to you Thurs and Fri. I have had no classroom assistant for a few weeks so apologies for the lack of messages. I'm hoping all of your pupils have now had a message from their e-pal? We finish on Fri 26th March for 2 weeks. Our summer term starts on Monday 12th April. Our academic year comes to an end on Friday 2nd July. We will be finding out about transport and space next term. I will ask the class for ideas about what we should focus on in our blog/google docs. Any thoughts? We liked your idea about the children picking names and being extra kind for the day. We are trying it on Thursdays and Fridays.
